Viburnum plicatum is at its prime today.

A very photogenic plant, I like every picture I take.

Name Above All Names

Jesus Messiah, Name above all names,

Blessed Redeemer, Emmanuel,

The Rescue for sinners, the Ransom from heaven,

Jesus Messiah, Lord of all!

Time For A Change

Yes, it's time for a change.

A change of color.

This year the geraniums on the deck will be red!

Not the usual pink.

April Garden Walk

Here are a few things that caught my eye as I walked

through the garden today.

Chives.

A lilac fills the backyard with its fragrance.

Hope the blueberry flowers are pollinated.

Viburnum plicatum.

Peony buds.

New growth on a dwarf pine.

A tiny rose bud.

Hops.

Cherry Blossom Festival

A cherry blossom festival is happening,

 just around the corner. 



Appaloosa Yearlings

I "spotted" these young Appaloosas on a short trip

to pick up garden supplies.  They were curious and

friendly.  Alas, I didn't have appropriate shoes to cross

a muddy ditch, so didn't get to pet them.

Tulip Day

I'm glad my neighbors have planted tulips.

So many colors to enjoy.

Summer and winter, and spring-time and harvest,

Sun, moon, and stars in their courses above,

Join with all nature, in manifold witness

To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.

Camelias

So many beautiful camelias in my neighborhood.

Before They Are Gone

Animal Neighbors

The boys are particularly muddy.

The goats are shedding their winter coats.

The llama has been sleeping in his food.

A shampoo and detangling conditioner might help.

Green Teapot

Found this green teapot at a craft show and sale. 

I'm thinking it would be a nice container for

a bouquet of pink roses.



The Solid Rock

My hope is built on nothing less

Than Jesus' blood and righteousness;

I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
